All teaching at the school starts with the artistic process. You will be challenged and presented with techniques that help you develop your personal expression.
To be able to promote ideas and feelings through art you must work with yourself and the world around you. A course at Performers House is therefore not just about dance, music and theater – you will work with psychology, philosophy and social themes as well.
The central aim is dialogue and dynamic cooperation – between individuals and groups, students, teachers, the public and performers. Your days will be hectic as you push yourself and each other to the limit. Together you will create results that propel you to new heights while still respecting every individual’s proficiency.
Performers House admits students from all over Europe. The working language of the school is English, at a level everyone can understand. We are aiming for a student ratio of 55% Danish to 45% of other European nationality.
This meeting of cultures is a fundamental idea behind Performers House. It is not meant as an integration project but as an equal exchange of common interests. This cultural meeting allows for dynamism, for space and for new approaches.
